About the Item

A fine Edwardian silver-gilt miniature carriage clock crafted by Drew Sons, Piccadilly Circus, London. Hallmarked for London, 1913, this charming clock is elegantly designed with a decorative gilt silver frame featuring embossed classical foliate borders and raised on bun feet. The hinged lid is monogrammed and allows access to the movement and winding mechanism. The clock face is adorned with Roman numerals and signed "Drew Sons Piccadilly Circus W." Specifications: Height: 7 cm Width: 5 cm Depth: 4 cm Weight: 319 grams Condition Report: In good antique condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. Gilding shows even and attractive patina. Clock movement untested and sold as decorative unless otherwise stated.
