An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Swiss silver and pink enamel miniature boudoir clock; an addition to our silver timepiece collection. This exceptional antique Swiss silver miniature boudoir clock has a plain rectangular form. The surface of this impressive antique clock is embellished with impressive pink guilloche enamel panels, framed with plain broad sterling silver borders. The upper portion of the enamel clock is fitted with an angular carrying handle. The enamel dial of the clock is ornamented with black hour numerals, encircled with plain black chapter ring of minute markers and fitted with shaped pink hands. The face of this timepiece is visible through a circular glass 'window' with a plain applied silver border. The hinged door and opens to reveal the original movement. The clock movement is fitted with an incorporated hinged winding key, featuring a shaped handle with a lobed fingerpiece. A fine and unusual miniature carriage or boudoire clock in silver gilt and decorated with pink guilloche enamel on four sides, with fine engine turned design to the back, by Eterna. The enamel is perfect with no chips or damage, and the clock retains the gilding to the silver. The particularly unusual feature of this clock is that it is an alarm which is a very rare feature. More than this the alarm function has been fitted to a very fine 8 day 3/4 plate movement with 15 Jewels, with cut bimetallic balance and breguet overcoil balance spring.
