Woodford Brass Carriage Clock, Late 20th Century
A fine late 20th-century brass carriage clock by Woodford (Est. 1860).
Of traditional form, the clock is housed in a polished brass case with bevelled glass panels to all sides, including the top, giving a clear view of the clean and precise movement. The white enamel-style dial features bold Roman numerals, outer minute track and spade hands, signed Woodford Est. 1860. The case is topped with a shaped handle and stands on turned feet.
This piece combines the elegance of the classic 19th-century French carriage clock with the reliability of a modern movement, making it both decorative and practical.
Dimensions: Height including handle 17 cm; Width 9 cm; Depth 7.5 cm.
Very good condition throughout, with bright case, clean dial and fully operational movement.
