About the Item

A late 19th century Morbier works for a tall case clock from Mr E Bourdil at Revel, a small town in the SW of France, near Toulouse. Movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled and it is in working condition. 7 day clock. Chimes on the hour and two minutes after and once on the half. The dimensions of the frame is 9.75" wide by 6" deep and 15"high at the top of the brass embossing. New bronze bell. The 40" long folding pendulum is original to the work. Keeps a good time.
