Rare Antique Swedish mora clock from mid 1800s in natural french polish finish with nice pattern inlaid detailing on the base with a great waisted shape body and a good face. Measures: 210cm. It has the Classic extended belly of a traditional Swedish mora clock. The clock body finish has the usual wood movement and distressing found in clocks of this age. the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350) please note - wood is a live substance and may change shape when it moves to a new environment with a different median temperature and humidity after shipping. This may cause splits to occur in panels after the clock has grown accustomed to its new home

    Repaired: it have probably had some small repairs during its lifetime. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. The clock has some paint distressing and it is structurally sound with the usual wood movement for a piece of its age. It has some slight cracking /lifting in the face enamel and may exhibit some paint lifting in places.
