Beautiful antique (19th century) French portico form mantel clock in white marble with finely cast ormolu bronze mounts, distinguished by its large size and Cupid with bow among clouds at the top. Apparently unsigned.

Condition:

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Column mounts a little loose. Feet apparently replaced. Light scuffs, scratches and stains to the marble. Gilt bronze mounts bright with little oxidation. Small chips to the porcelain face.
