Antique Animated Monk Striking Bell 3 Finial Brass Decorated 8 Day Mantle Clock MOVEMENT: 8 day wind up mechanism FUNCTION: time with half hour and hour striking SIZE: 28"H x 11-1/2"W ORIGIN: China. CONDITION: This clock is currently in working order. But if you need any help after delivery, please feel free to give us a call. We are here to help. AGE: c. 1910's REMARK: While the clock is striking, the monk raises his hammer and strikes on the brass bell. The monk is hand carved out of wood. The actual sound of the striking is from interior of the bell, chimed by a metal hammer, so it's loud and clear.
