About the Item

Oversized palace size monumental baroque figural Capodimonte style, finely detailed porcelain antique mantel clock/centerpiece. This piece depicts a baroque wedding carriage drawn by four beautiful and vibrantly colored galloping horses and has profuse gilt embellishment throughout. This piece also features an 18th century style coachman and two lovers atop the carriage with a puppy seated upon the woman's lap. Presented on a finely detailed glass and porcelain base with a gilt bronze surround on ornate gilt embellished feet. Circa Early 20th Century Dimensions: H 27" D 12" W 52.5"
