About the Item

Superbly stylish is this wonderful Art Deco 8 day clock by Kienzel. Beautiful bluey grey colored glass and brass desk timepiece is typical of the 1930s. The bronze case is highly polished and lacquered. The chapter ring with raised brass Roman numerals on a black-painted rim which is raised on the brass base with two simple supports. The modernist styled clock hands are contained within the two sheets of circular bluey grey colored glass. The eight-day movement by Kienzle is hidden behind the central brass disk. It has a built-in key, and has been fully serviced by an horologist. This is a rare and beautiful clock is almost mint condition and working perfectly. A large size ideal for mantel (fireplace) area, sideboards or desk.
