About the Item

This antique mantel clock was made in the late 19th century and features a solid combination of black Portoro marble with natural beige, gold, and white veins, paired with green serpentine/Verde Antico stone. These materials create a strong contrast and give the clock a clear, attractive look. The mix of black, green, and warm veining makes the piece stand out without feeling overly decorative. The brass dial features clear engraved numerals and warm golden tones that complement the marble. Egyptian Revival details, including small bas-relief figures and the classic winged sun motif. Thanks to its bold architecture and refined stonework, this clock works well as a standout accent in both classic and modern interiors.
