About the Item

An elegant 19th century ormolu mounted marble 3 piece clock garniture. This clock set was made in France for Tiffany Company in the late 19th century. The set comprised of a clock and a pair of seven arms candelabras. The clock mounted with a winged cherub holding a torch atop a purple marble dome resting on 8 Greek/Roman columns with fine ormolu mounts, and a classical mask sunburst motif pendulum. Circa: 1890 Signed on the dial: Tiffany Co. Movement Marked: Made in France, Medaille D'argent 1889 and numbered 4192 Clock: Height: 22" (55 cm) Width: 9.5" (24 cm) Depth: 9.5" (24 cm) Candelabras: Height: 21" (53 cm) Width: 8" (20 cm) Depth: 8" (20 cm)
