About the Item

Portico clock from the Empire period, circa 1810, with an architectural design in white marble, accompanied by very simple ornamentation in mercury-gilt bronze with finely chiseled gold. This ornamentation includes rows of pearls, rosettes, a laurel wreath, vases, and a sunburst pendulum. The domed dial is made of white enamel with finely crafted gold hands, accentuated by a guilloché bezel with a domed glass. Strike the antique bell on the hour and half hour.
