About the Item

Fine quality antique 19th century Black Forest cuckoo clock having a quality carved case with carved leaves and two carved birds flanking the clock face a carved bird to the top of the case, having a circular dial with gilded Roman numerals with the original hands, with an eight day movement striking the hour and half hour with a pop out cuckoo behind a door above the dial, having a carved leaf pendulum and two original pinecone shaped weights attached to chains to drive the clocks movement and the cuckoo mechanism. All clocks get serviced by our horologist prior to delivery. D. 1860
