About the Item

This 19th century clock is stunning with its diamond shaped rippling clock frame of ebony painted wood. Mother-of-pearl floral and foliate designs are inlaid in differently stained mahogany and brilliant mother-of-pearl, surrounding the porcelain clock face in symmetrical form. The white porcelain face has hand-painted Roman numerals. The clock chimes the hour, and once on the half hour.
