About the Item

Beautiful late 18th Century English Chinoiserie wall or tavern clock. The Chinoiserie decoration on this clock case is of excellent quality and the scale is impressive too. A good brass dial movement signed 'George Windmill', London, 1790. Unsure if the movement and case started life together but it sure makes for a happy marriage and a statement piece in any home.
