About the Item

Original 1875 EN Welch Gale Drop 5 Dial 6 Hand Complication Calendar Wall Clock This is one of the most amazing clock you can find online, an original Welch Gale No. 2 perpetual calendar clock. This clock is one of the most featured clocks you can found in the markets. The clock itself has five hands indicating different features. It not only has the standard features as a calendar clock, such as time and date, etc, but this fully featured clock even has the functions of day, month, sunrise, sunset, moon phase, and etc. Antique 8 day clock movement with hour strike. The calendar movement also has the feature for leap year. In February, the hand will jump from 28th directly to 1st. If it's leap year, it will jump from 29th to 1st. of March. During other regular months, such as April, the calendar hand will jump from 30th to 1st of May, without any adjustment. This clock is 30-1/2" tall and 17-3/4" wide. This clock is made by American EN Welch around 1875 and stamped on the mechanism. Original labels can be found inside the clock case. The clock mechanism has been professionally cleaned and in good working order. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.
