About the Item
This turn of the century General Electric desk fan has been fully restored both mechanically and cosmetically. Refinished and painted in antiqued white powder coat, the finish is visually and aesthetically closer to white porcelain than paint. Brass has been polished to a high luster and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. Rewired with period correct cotton covered 18 gauge wire. Constructed with heavy cast iron for the motor housing and base and brass for the fan's blades and cage.
Please note, this design of appliance is considered, by any metric, to be obsolete, and you must assume liability in the operation, inspection and ownership of this fan. This fan should never be left attended while in operation.
