About the Item

Two level 1950s metal letter tray by Hugh Acton for the Brunswick Corporation USA, c. 1965 A minimilist architectural design. Substantial construction with the original black finish with chrome elements. It's a real statement piece for your desk. Acton had a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Grinnell College and MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. His design firm, Hugh Acton, Inc., was based in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
