A Stunning Regency Era Rosewood Hand-Crafted Writing Slope. With Purple Velvet Interior, Secret Compartments. Befit With The Original Brass Topped Square Glass Inkwells. Decorated throughout with beautiful floral decorative inlay, and has two side flush brass carry handles. Inside there are a few handy places to hold letters and writing materials, and in addition to this there is a secret hidden compartment revealing three small drawers concealed beneath the writing surface. Will be sent with a vintage writing pen, working key with a silk swing tag and a modern notepad and two inkwells. Items might differ from what's depicted. Labelled W Anderson 24 Fleet Street According to the "London Robsons Street Directory" of 1832 24, Fleet street was cited as being occupied by William Anderson
