About the Item
A so called trench art object in the shape of the silver-plated pencil or cigaret holder made from WW1 era components. The 3 blank bullets that makes up its legs has hallmarks from the Danish military and are dated 1911. A plaquette to its front says in Danish: 'In remembrance of the Soldiers'. Danish people from the Southern part of Denmark were recruited to the German Military in the later part of WW1.
