About the Item

Place this elegant antique signed inkwell in a man’s office. Created in France, circa 1880, the pewter desk accessory sits on four small curved feet, and features a proud lion figure standing on a mount flanked with two round ink holders and lids, and embellished with foliage decor. The piece is signed on the back, A. Bossu. The inkwell is in excellent condition, with a rich pewter patinated finish, and would make a useful addition to a desk or writing table. Measures: 17" W x 9" D x 9" H.
