About the Item

French Bronze “Looking for Milk” Inkwell circa 1880 Style of Henri Picard. French, circa 1880. A finely cast inkwell or storage box constructed in two parts. The top having a young child or cherub gazing at the underside of a goat - assumably looking for milk. The base having acanthus leaf edging. Apparently unmarked but has a very similar style to that or Henri Pacard (French, 1840-1890).
