Late 19th century French treen inkwell with pen holder. Elegantly decorated with subtly colored chinoiserie scenes of gardens bamboo follies. Brass trim with floral leaf feet. Base newly baized in black. Lacks ink insert, however it is metal lined. A bit of rim denting. 6.25" dia., 2.25" h.
