Elongated wave-form base with classical draped figure reclining against rolling sea at one end. Hinged inkwell compartment at opposite end. Glass insert missing.White metal with silver plating. Manufactured by Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. Stamped on base with early and rare WMFB mark used from 1880-1918.
