About the Item
In this listing you will find an impressive example of Art Nouveau craftsmanship - a letter opener with a perfectly shaped floral ornaments on one side and a figure of a girl on the other. The tip of the letter opener is done in ivory, which perfectly compliments the overall combination of colors. There is a hallmark LB, which appears to be the artist's signature. No other hallmarks are present, making us believe the handle is not done in silver, despite a striking resemblance of the metal. Made kn France cca. 1900s.
The letter opener is in a very good condition with no damages.
