About the Item

This futuristic Teledome (model #3005) phone was patented and manufactured in 1972 by Teleconcepts and included internals made by Northern Telecom Inc. Chrome-plate handset with black acrylic box and clear plastic dome for accessible view of internal mechanisms. Black acrylic shows very minimal wear (a few scuffs), and is excellent for the age. There are a few spots on dial's center circle and one faint residue streak just below it on the plastic dome, as well as minor / expected corrosion to the internals. There is tape residue on the handset, as photographed. Sold as a decorative item; unsure of functionality, but the ground is intact and sound.
