A fine antique scramble paperweight.
With an entertaining collector's label to the base that reads 'Sandwich Junk Wt.'.
That collector thought it was a Boston Sandwich weight. We're unsure if this is American or French. So, Baccarat, Saint Louis, or New England Glass Co......?
In any case, a lovely miniature scramble paperweight!

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is a chip to the side wall, fleabites
minor chipping to the dome
extensive fritting around the foot (that we think is from 'in the making'). Otherwise, there are some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Attributed to Sandwich, NECG, St. Louis, or Baccarat.
