About the Item

Barovier Toso Murano Glass Pear Fruit shaped paperweight sculpture with netted gold powder infused controlled bubble pattern within an opalescent Lattimo Glass body in macha green color. The fruit sits on top of glass base with flowing outline. This sculpture is part of the Graffito" series which was designed by Ercole Barovier and first introduced in 1969. A portion of the original Barovier Toso manufacturing label is still attached at the base. Authentic mid-century Murano Glass objects, especially those from renowned companies such as Barovier Toso appear seldom on the market. Designs in general were produced in limited number and due to the fragile nature, only few are still found in original and well preserved condition which is essential to protect the collectible value.
