About the Item
Beautiful and very unusual, vintage Murano hand blown deep red-orange and white spots Italian art glass mushroom / toadstool sculptural paperweight. The mushroom has an original importers label that reads "Decora Imports - Made In Italy - Genuine Venetian Glass From Murano" in blue and silver. The mushroom has been sculpted in a very realistic way. It could pass for a real mushroom. The stem is made with thousands of little melted white dots, which are the same white pieces, un-melted, that are also on the top of the mushroom. Would make a great display piece on any desk, coffee table or curio cabinet. Use it as a paperweight, or display it as a sculpture. Mid-century era. Measurements: 3 1/2" tall x 4" wide on the top mushroom cap.
