We are pleased to offer for sale a paperweight that can truly be considered a miniature sculpture.
Solid and very heavy—1.5 kg to be precise—this piece is crafted in cast brass and depicts a lifelike lemon from the Amalfi Coast, known as the Sfusato Amalfitano.
The thick, aromatic rind of this quintessentially Italian lemon variety is faithfully rendered in its texture, as are the veins on the leaf.
Likely produced in the 1970s, it bears no stamped signatures or labels that would allow for a firm attribution.
The surface has been recently cleaned and polished with a specific metal-care product.
It is in good vintage condition and ready to ship.
