Place of Origin: Kenyan
Genuine Sericho Pallasite Meteorite
Located in New York, NY
This luminous Sericho pallasite meteorite slice offers a captivating view into the early solar system. Dating back approximately 4.5 billion years, this stony-iron meteorite was discovered in Kenya and officially recognized in 2016, although the fall is believed to have occurred decades earlier. This Sericho slice features a mosaic of orange and green Olivine – the gem variety of Peridot – suspended in a gleaming iron-nickel matrix. Especially when backlit, the Olivine crystals radiate with striking transparency and color. Pallasites make up less than 1% of all known meteorites and are among the rarest and most beautiful of extraterrestrial materials. Thought to originate from disrupted asteroids in the early solar system, specimens like this one likely formed at the boundary between a molten metal core and a silicate-rich mantle – or through high-energy impacts between differentiated bodies. This meteorite slice offers a literal cross-section of planetary formation and destruction. A true standout for any meteorite, mineral, or space memorabilia...

Ebony Wood Hand Carved African Elephant
Located in Moreno Valley, CA
Hand carved wood ebony African elephant. Mid-20th Century Hand-Carved African Elephant Sculpture in Solid Ebony Wood Hand-carved African elephant sculpture, crafted from dense solid ebony wood, renowned for its rich, deep hue and natural sheen. This mid-20th-century piece captures the power and majesty of the African elephant. Handcrafted carved wooden elephant, likely an African Elephant due to the large ears. It appears to be made from a dark wood, possibly ebony, which is a popular material for such carvings. Ebony is a dense and valuable wood, making these carvings desirable for collectors. Hand-carved by a skilled artisan, likely of East or Central African origin, the sculpture showcases traditional carving techniques passed down through generations. Its smooth polish and heavy weight reflect the high quality of the ebony used—a wood celebrated not only for its beauty but also for its durability and rarity. This piece serves as both a decorative object and a cultural artifact, ideal for collectors of African art, lovers of wildlife sculptures, or those seeking a unique focal point for an interior space. Dimensions: Height: 10 in. Width: 9.5 in. Depth: 3.25 in. (Insert exact dimensions) Origin: Africa (likely Kenya, Tanzania, or Congo region) Circa: 1950s–1970s In Chinese culture, the elephant symbolizes good luck, prosperity, peace, and happiness. Placing an elephant figurine in the home or office is believed to attract good fortune and ward off evil. Elephant statues are also associated with wisdom, family unity, and personal strength. A feng shui elephant is a powerful symbol that can invite auspicious energy into your home. The elephant is a venerated animal in Asian cultures because of their intelligence, physical prowess, and memory. They symbolize wisdom, strength, and good luck. The elephant's trunk is where luck and energy are kept. It is a symbol of wisdom and understanding that can assist you in quickly overcoming a range of difficulties. The downward trunk elephant is believed to maintain balance at work and keep good energy levels up at home. Kenya Turkana Wooden Container / 20th Century / African Art/Wall Hanging Vase
Located in Sammu-shi, Chiba
This is a wooden vessel used by the Turkana tribe in Kenya, Africa. It was made around the 20th century. The material is a hard and slightly heavy wood like elm. Originally, it was a container for squeezing goat's milk. The tip of the container is slightly tapered so that the milk does not spill out due to shaking. Also, the inside of the container has a slightly unique smell because it is the container that put the milk in. It looks like a piece of art with beautiful curves carved out of a square piece of wood. Also, it may have been left near the fire for a long time, and soot and other substances have adhered to it, turning it black and glossy. Please be assured that this soot will not stick to your hands. Usually, it is mostly the color of the wood as it is or a slightly brown color. It is very rare to have such a dark color. You can decorate it with flowers like in the picture, and I think it's very attractive to keep it as an object. It also has holes so you can easily attach it to the wall with strings or nails. Since the base is round and does not stand on its own, it comes with a ring-shaped base wrapped with cloth. Also, if water is added directly, the wood may expand or dry out, causing it to crack. Therefore, put water in another container and put the flowers in it. This is a very rare item given to me by a Japanese collector...
