Chinese Export Porcelain European-subject Punch Bowl, Sailor's Farewell and Return Bowl with Royal Navy Ship, Circa 1765-75 The Chinese Export porcelain bowl has two images of a sailor and his wife, one known as the sailor's farewell and the other the sailor's return. The farewell depicts the sailor leaving his wife who hugs him as he is about to depart as he points to the Royal Navy Ship with the Blue Ensign just offshore. The sailor's return depicts the sailor depositing watches and coins into his wife's upraised apron. Between the images are large painted flowering branches and the interior has similar painting. A Very Large and Rare German Ormolu Mounted Meissen Porcelain Three Piece Clock & Candelabra Garniture Set. This impressive set consists of three pieces: a center clock and two candelabras, each adorned with the most intricate and delicate details that have been executed to perfection. Each three armed candelabra is remarkably elaborate with foliate arms that are embellished with gilt-covered beautifully twisted branches and curling leaves on an ornate botanically-inspired base. Embraced by the arms of the candelabras are two 18th Century Meissen Porcelain figures of musical lovers, dressed in brightly detailed traditional clothes. The round clock face, with roman numerals, a white base, and ornate hands is surrounded by a flourish of gorgeous gilt foliage, exuding an air of elegance and refinement. Perched atop the clock is a stunning Meissen Porcelain figurine of a beautiful woman posed in mid-movement, her dress aflutter, and baring her leg as she gazes up at her left hand which is holding a bunch of grapes, while also grasping a wine goblet in her lowered right hand, representing the festivities of the moment. This pair of vases is made of exceptionally fine Porcelaine de Paris from the 18th century. The bronze mounts are covered in gold, and were 19th century additions. The porcelain itself is a phenomenal blue color with gold designs on it that looks magnificent. The vases each have a set of four portraits on them as well: two horizontal scenes on the front and back, with two vertical portraits above them on the front and back as well. The paintings on the front of each have people in them, whereas the ones on the back depict country scenes and buildings.
