Mid-20th-century Italian frame. Carved, lacquered, and gilded wood of good size and quality. The frame can hold a painting or mirror with a maximum size of 58 x 78 cm (22 x 30 in).
It can be hung vertically or horizontally by moving the appropriate hook. It is beautifully decorated and proportioned. It has a pleasant patina, with some minor signs of age. Structurally sound, the frame is in overall good condition.
