About the Item
A rather incredible and rare three-tier antique American wall frame that is four inches deep with the first inner frame having hand decorated gilded scroll work. All that gilding directs a warm light (as that of a candle) onto the image or mirror placed within it. The second inner frame of beautifully executed faux painted burled wood having delicate hand incised designs on all four corners. The third and outer frame of hand carved solid walnut with ebony trim. The interior dimensions of the first inner frame is 8 X 10 and would be suitable for a loved one’s portrait or even a mirror.
Whatever you decide to install within it will certainly take center stage in a well appointed home.
