Edwardian Classical sterling silver picture frame. Made by Eels Brothers
Browne in London in 1905. Plain and flat rectangular surround; mounted to top open scrollwork with small armorial cartouche over larger strapwork one (both vacant). With glass, silk lining, and stained-wood back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp (TW Harris).
Overall dimensions: Frame: H 9 3/4 x W 7 1/2 in. Window: H 7 x W 5 in.
