Victorian Classical sterling silver picture frame, 1898. Rectangular surround with low-relief egg-and dart border; sides plain. Open scrollwork crown and supports. With beveled glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including indistinct maker’s stamp and Birmingham assay stamp.
Overall dimensions: Frame: H 10 5/8 x W 8 in. Window: H 8 1/4 x W 6 in.
