An exquisite late 19th-century French gilt bronze photo frame, richly decorated with Neoclassical and Louis XVI style motifs.
The oval frame features a finely modelled cherub and intricate relief details — including the face of a goddess, floral garlands, foliage, dart borders, and a satyr mask at the base.
A beautifully balanced design that combines mythological symbolism with refined craftsmanship. The frame retains its original gilt finish with attractive surface wear and warm patina, emphasizing its authentic antique character.
Fitted with glass on the front and an easel supporting leg on the back. A perfect addition to a classical or eclectic interior, this elegant piece reflects the opulence and artistic quality of French decorative arts from the Belle Époque period.
