About the Item
Large Edwardian Classical sterling silver picture frame. Made by Lebkuecher in Newark, ca 1900. Rectangular surround. On front, chased leafing scrolls flowers, and diaper; top and bottom rail have scrolled cartouches (vacant). Sides plain. Interior rim has scalloped corners. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 05370/149, and phrase “Hand Made”.
