Pair Roman Gilded Frames 1700, rare pair of antique carved and gilded wooden frames, Rome 18th century. Rectangular in shape, with three orders of carving, this pendant of ancient Roman frames is intended to graphic works, old prints, or drawings, considering the narrow 1-cm inner stop. They measure 35.2 x 42.2 cm and the inner light is 25.2 x 33 cm. They come from a private collection in Lombardy and are in good condition with minimal restorations consistent with the eighteenth-century period and a drop in the preparation near the throat, as documented in the photo gallery. Central Italy, Rome 18th century. For the export from Italy of an art object that is more than 50 years old, a government export license called BELLE ARTI must be applied for. the issuance of such a license takes about 2 to 3 weeks, to be added to the order processing time.
