About the Item
Unique hand-carved wooden sculpture, titled "Vestibule". This piece was made in 2007 at the artist's studio in Lancashire England, carved from reclaimed raw ash slabs. Measures: 46.5" x 18" x 15". Andrew Plum was born in Lancashire, England in 1965 and moved to Canada at the age of 21. His long association with fine art and antiques, particularly with Asian works of art, influences Plum's work.
His works are held in numerous corporate and private collections.

Andrew Plum
Andrew Plum was born in Lancashire, England in 1965 and moved to Canada at the age of 21. His long association with the fine art and antiques business, particularly Asian works of art, influences Plum's work. His vibrant paintings are characterized by sensuous use of color and pallet work. One could call it Abstract Expressionism or Automatism, but Plum’s colorful, often winsome or enlightening stories and travels emerge seamlessly through the abstraction, creating a unique and bold history of images open to interpretation. Andrew Plum’s works are held in numerous corporate and private collections.
