This large ceramic abstraction has a terrific form and a rich earthy texture and color. With glazes in modeled greens and browns it has a delightful organic biomorphic quality.
It is very much is the style of the California Craft movement. However, the piece is unsigned so we are unable to definitively attribute the artist responsible though it might be by Maurice Rosen.
