Mid-century bronze sculpture by American Artist Bob Bennett, a very limited edition of only 50 models realized. Signed and dated 1983 and numbered (25/50) at the bottom at the base. Polished bronze, excellent vintage condition. The Sculpture does not present any structural imperfection, has it's original patina which adds more character to the piece. The piece have been sourced from a local art collector estate who sadly passed away. Only 50 of these were realized and this is number 25 of 50. Height 20" , width 10" . This is an important abstract sculpture by American Artist Bob Bennet, the sculpture evokes this idea of movemen, fluidity and dynamism, which reminds us of Italian 1900 movement period called Futurism defined by artists such as Giacomo Balla and Umberto Boccioni. Size: height 20", width 10" x 8". Only 50 of these were realized and this is number 25 of 50 Condition: excellent, bronze with patina. This sculpture will be great on a pedestal or in a bookcase or a coffee table setting. Tom and Bob Bennett are twin brothers American artists and gallery owners especially recognized for their bronze masterful art installations and sculptures in the 1970s, then expanding their portfolio to welded figures. Sculpted by hand and casted in bronze their work are fluid high polished forms, abstract designs and streamline human figures. The Bennett brothers grew up in California and began their career in 1969. In the 1970s they opened several galleries in California to then concentrate only on their artistic research.
