About the Item
Bronze abstract sculpture by Bob Bennett (1928-2003) who worked with his twin brother Tom. They started with wire sculpture later to work with bronze casting and in time opened a number of galleries across the country to represent their work. This piece is a free form abstract invoking organic shapes found in nature. This is a artists proof example in which this was the first or perhaps the only one created by Bob and are generally not sold and kept by the artist for reference, signed Bob Bennett A/P 79 for 1979. The various shapes on the sculpture captures the light in a number of ways depending the time of day creating a different visual vocabulary.
