A bronze sculpture designed by one of the most famous contemporary artist from Sweden Ernst Billgren. The sculptures name is "Abstract Sculpture" and it is made in an limited edition of 7 works where this is number 4, it also holds a unique painted painting by Ernst. It is 35 x 17 cm (14" x 6.8") and 27 cm (10.8") tall. The sculpture is is excellent condition.
Ernst Billgren is one of Sweden’s most original and versatile artists. With a unique blend of classicism, kitsch, and fairytale-like symbolism, his work both amazes and provokes. He works across various media – from painting and sculpture to film and literature – freely moving between high and low culture, tradition and innovation. Billgren’s art is rich in references to nature, history, and philosophy, always with a playful spark. His works ask questions rather than give answers – and that’s precisely what makes them so compelling. An artist who constantly surprises and challenges perceptions. He currently has an exhibition at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, as one of the few living artists to have exhibited there.
