About the Item
Modernist Mid-Century Modernist abstract metal Bull Sculpture by California Artist Charles Luedtke. Incredible craftsmanship in torch welded steel. This was acquired directly from the artist's Coronado, California estate. Signed and titled with a brass plaque. 1950s
Charles Luedtke earned his B.F.A. from the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee and an M.S. in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin. His work has been exhibited extensively across Wisconsin, California, New York, and Florida, and is included in numerous private collections throughout the United States.
In 1956, he and his family relocated to Coronado, California, where he taught art for 23 years.
