A early 20th century wooden casting pattern. Probably as part of a drive shaft.
Shaft in the shape of an inverted blunted cone with strips on the sides and a disc with a wooden gear wheel and an iron gear wheel on top.
Very decorative abstract object with beautiful original patina.
Also ideal as a lamp base.
