About the Item
We acquired 3 sculptures from the estate of the late artist Rose Grant. This trailblazing housewife turned artist trained under the Italian masters in Florence and created a series of Memphis inspired post-modern sculptures in carrera marble with her red/blue/yellow accent primary colors in the 1980s. Her 1st gallery show took place in Italy. Two more beauties from that collection coming soon. This triangle on grey marble base beauty (amazing on all sides) has a chip on the grey marble base on the BACK side (please see photo). The back side of the triangle has hand-painted elements as well. Mrs.Grant believed a sculpture should be good at all angles. This sculpture was kept at the family estate until her passing. The BACK side only of the triangle’s primary colors have faded. (See pic) It can be easily touched up if desired, but many art collectors like rare pieces of art in it’s unaltered, original condition.
