Antique massive wood lump, burl wood slab can be displayed as an unique art piece to add the taste of wabi sabi, or the touch of nature to the space.
Burl wood slabs are one of the popular features as decorative objects in Japanese house interior, such as onto the alcove space in Tokonoma (recessed alcove in traditional Japanese room),
or at the entrance hall. This slab seemed to be used as a decorative object for long time, no freaky or fragile areas, still in good condition.
