Kaiser Suidan Ceramic Table Top 2-Piece Abstract Sculpture, Signed and Numbered
Offered for sale is a 2 piece ceramic table-top sculpture by Kaiser Suidan. They are consistent with the artist's work with cubes during the late 20th century. They are signed “Kaiser” and numbered under the base of each piece and are finished in bone white glaze. These are an interesting and architectural element for any table top or bookshelf.

From first generation Lebanese descent, Kaiser Suidan was raised in a large family, six brothers and one sister, in small USA town. His passion for gardening, working with the earth and organic forms inspired him to explore clay. His journey began early, in junior high, and continued into high school, where he won numerous awards for his ceramic work. He earned a full scholarship from College of Creative Studies in Detroit, and graduated with honors in 1993. Kaiser’s career started over 20 years ago in his small basement studio. Since then he has grown not only as an artist but as a businessman and entrepreneur. Gallery owner, curator, instructor, and mentor have been added to his growing list of titles. While his passion for clay continues, the spectrum now includes other mediums as a result of Kaiser representing other artists from around the country as they look for their next step on their journey through the arts.

Jan Alfons Keustermans (°1940) is a Belgian sculptor, medalist and draftsman. He studied at the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Antwerp and until 2000 he was director of the Municipal Academy of Fine Arts in Turnhout.
He has won several art prizes for sculpture and participated in group exhibitions in Belgium and abroad.
He has created more than 850 works. In 1994, he won the Ministry of Finance’s competition for a portrait of King Albert II on the Belgian currency. In 1997 he designed a similar version for the euro coin.
