About the Item

One of a kind Atomic Age large Mid-Century Modern style wall sculpture made of round black painted bent iron rod, in zig-zag form or atom rings with assorted metallic colored orbs (atoms) and brushed steel details. Circa 1980s sculpture is a perfect piece for the fan of the Big Band Theroy TV Show, The Jetsons, Oppenheimer, Space Age Sputnik or looking for a conversation piece for their home , office or commercial space. In fine original condition, some loss to black paint on bent rods, very little loss to paint on orbs. In the style of C. Jere or contemporary artist Kenny Scharf, who often uses mid-century, futuristic, Jetsons like themes in his paintings and sculpture. Unsigned, attaches to the wall with the clips as seen in photos.
